Merits

Since April 2018 Master Scott Saccareccia holds the ITF Certified rank of 7th Dan [A-7-68]. He as a member of the USTF with GM C.E. Sereff before joining the ITF in 2013. He began Taekwon-do training in January 1987 with Master Hong Sik Kim, who was sent to the Pacific Northwest of the United States by Gen. Choi Hong Hi in 1970 to start introducing ITF Taekwon-
Do to the region. He has trained in Wing Chun Kung Fu briefly along with Taekwon-do.

Master Scott Saccareccia has been a part-time Taekwon-do instructor since the late 1990 as he built a 25 year career in the Computer Software Industry. He is the chief instructor of Pacific Northwest Club Taekwon-Do and Northwest Rising Sun Taekwon-Do programs located in Hillsboro, Oregon and Vancouver Washington.

Achievements

In addition to leading the Taekwon-Do PNW Club TKD and NW RS TKD programs, Master Scott Saccareccia has competed at both the National and International levels. He has taken the experience gained from his years in Taekwon-Do to help students from all walks of life work towards their goals in Taekwon-Do. Many of his students have gone on to become successful contributors in their communities.

Career

Master Saccareccia has officiated at local, regional, and international tournaments. He served as Oregon State Director from 2009-2013. From 2013 to 2019, he served as the Secretary General for the Original Taekwon-Do Federation of America. From December 2019 to the first Election in June of 2020, he served as the Secretary General for ITF America. Master Saccareccia leads black belt students and instructors that have ITF rank up through 6 th Dan. Master Saccareccia continues training, participating, and learning through attendance in ITF International Instructor Courses and Seminars conducted by the ITF America and the ITF Technical Committees.
