Master John Dandeneau

“My goal as a member of the Board of Directors for the ITFA is to help with current situations and the future direction for the organization. I feel as a member that I can contribute with administrative work, growth, instruction, and voting on the important decisions for the Organization. I bring a Military and a Corporate background to the organization with years of experience in management of people, equipment, and business organizations.”
Merits
Master Dandeneau served in the Military (US Army Special Forces 22 years) and the US State Department International Law Enforcement Narcotics Aviation Unit (20 Years) with many years of working and living overseas. I understand different points of views and ways of life.
Master Dandeneau was responsible for reintroducing ITF TaeKwon-Do back into Bolivia 1993-1996. There is a school named after him there and when he left Boliva was in good shape with a strong ITF presence.
Master Dandeneau has completed an Associate’s Degree (Liberal Arts), Bachelor’s Degree (Criminal Justice) and Master’s Degree (MBA). I also was a lead instructor for leadership training for Dyncorp Intl. and the Training Manger for Dyncorp and AAR corporations.
Career
Master Dandeneau began his martial arts training in 1978 studying HapKiDo at Fort Bragg NC. He was introduced to TaeKwonDo while stationed in Panama, where he studied Chun Do Kwan TKD. In 1984 while stationed in the US he met Grand Master Steiner and started to study ITF TaeKwonDo, and currently studies under Grand Master Nunez and Grand Master Thibado.
Master Dandeneau has opened and ran Taekwon-Do schools in Key West Florida, Fort Ord California, Fayetteville North Carolina, Orlando Florida, La Paz Bolivia, and the United Arab Emirates since 1985. Master Dandeneau was the State Director for the USTF in Florida and North Carolina.
Since 2012 Master Dandeneau has led a club in the Viera Recreation Center in Viera Florida.
